Description
The FS-18 sensor is designed as a direct replacement for any mechanical switch used in hoppers, pan feeders, and feed silos, requiring no modifications to existing electrical circuits.
Driven by an integrated microprocessor, the FS-18 delivers high-performance sensitivity, precise time-delay management, and reliable operation across a broad temperature range. Its smart potentiometer technology allows for effortless configuration of sensitivity, time delay, and polarity (NO or NC). With a 2-wire configuration, the sensor connects in series to load currents ranging from 4.5 to 300 mA.
Installation
Use the two supplied lock nuts to securely mount the sensor to the hopper sidewall, feed plate, or feed silo.
